Homer 8, Chittenango 4: Andy Parker goes 4-for-4 while Zephan Kash (1x3, 4 RBIs) and Mike Hartnett (2x3, double) hit triples as Trojan improve to 2-0. Zach Blanden swings 1x4 bats with 2 RBIs. Brent Quinlan, Tyler Simonetta (W, 2-0) and Blanden hold Chittenango batters to five hits and one earned run. Homer 3, Phoenix 1: Tyler Simonetta tosses a 3-hitter with 7 strikeouts as Trojans open 2011 season with win.
